Joe Stallings, M.D. attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences graduating in 1973. He completed his internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, finishing in 1974.
Dr. Stallings joined UAMS Northeast in 1982 and was the Family Medicine Residency Director from that time until July 2009 and he continues as a full time faculty member. He serves as the Craighead County Health Officer. He has received numerous awards and is active in the Arkansas AFP, the American AFP, Arkansas Medical Society and the AMA.
His interests include his grandchildren, hunting and all the aspects of family medicine.
