Tom Frank, Pharm.D., BCPS attended Arkansas State University and received a pre-professional degree in 1974; he then attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy and graduated in 1977. Dr. Frank attended the Medical University of South Carolina and received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1982.
He is a frequently invited lecturer on drug therapeutics at numerous state and national professional meetings. He has been recognized as one of the most influential pharmacists in the United States by Drug Topics.
Dr. Frank was the first clinical pharmacist to join the AHEC Program in Arkansas in 1985. His professional practice interests include appropriate use of antibiotics, improving patient ahnerence to drug therapy and promoting cost-effective drug therapy.
Dr. Frank grows roses for a hobby and enjoys sharing his harvest with his coworkers at AHEC – Northeast.
